Team Abm C68 Racing
Team Abm C68 Racing was created to bring a new higher standard of BMX racing to South Africa. Based in Durban South Africa the team has a few selected talented riders that are dedicated and determined to be the best they can be on and off the racing track.
One of the main goals for this team is to show local riders what it is like to work together to be great brand ambassadors. With our sponsors we have created a team that everyone wishes to be a part of and every sponsor is proud of.
Currently the team has 5 team members ranging from ages 10 to 40 boys and girls.
Showing everyone that whatever a boy can do, a girl can do better Miss Rylee Van Heerden age 12, is currently your world 3 in BMX cruiser girls age 11-12 and South African Champ 2023. Rylee dreams of becoming world one and pushes everyday to be the best that she can be.
One of our more experienced riders Mr Jonnathan Chislett is not afraid to show the younger riders how it's done. Jonnathan started racing in 1986, with a few world titles under his belt, as well as some of his students being sent to the Olympics. Jonnathan has become a BMX legend in local racing.
With BMX racing in his blood Dominic Eggar age 9, is one of our newest riders. Dominic has been racing since 2021. Coming third in South Africa in 2021 and 2022 and 2023. Dominic is also second in KZN, Dominic is pushing for that top spot.
Altus Van Staden age 8, may be small, but dynamite comes in small packages! Altus knew this was the sport for him when he got onto the track for the very first time. With hard work and determination Altus came forth in South Africa in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Our very own Elite rider Christopher Axford. Christopher started racing at the age of 15 and has achieved so much since. Chris has won races locally and internationally. With becoming your 17 and over BMX Champ in South Africa 2022, Chris decided to move up and race the Elite class this year. You will always find Chris at the track as when he is not riding, Chris is coaching the younger generation.
